Redwood is a proud member of the Quebec Camps Association & Canadian Camps Association
Founded in 1961 on the ACQ's mission is to "recognize and promote the quality and educational value of the CAMP experience in Quebec" by bringing together organizations offering a camp program. vacation, day camp, nature class, family camp or hosting groups in order to support them, promote them and ensure their quality. "
"Out of twelve (12) camps visited this summer, Redwood has been my personal favorite.
The physical site provides ample opportunity to disconnect from the city without having
to drive hours away from it - not to mention the camp provides door-to-door
transportation by bus for hundreds of children every day. The facilities are truly
outstanding, offering safe spaces for all kinds of physical, artistic and intellectual
stimulation. Children encountered throughout the visit seemed to be having a blast, just
like their counselors. Staff at all levels of the organization were engaged, passionate,
knowledgeable and caring. The founders should be proud of the community they built.
Hats off!" ~Antoine Godin-Landry, B.C.L., J.D., ACQ Consultant~
